End-of-Season Winterization

The winter elements can cause extensive damage to your irrigation system if it is not winterized properly. Winterizing your system is the safest way to protect your investment.

This service includes properly closing water valves and using compressed air to purge all water from the system and setting the control box.

Upgrades and Repairs

Whether your landscaping has changed, if the system was not properly installed, or damage has occurred, we will provide detailed recommendations to improve the existing system layout and its efficiency.

With your assessment report in hand, you will have a clear itemized rundown to allow you to properly budget for immediate upgrades and for potential future repairs. Repairs and upgrades are billed separately upon completion of the work.

Urgent Repair Service Call

Construction damage? Faulty valves? Vandalism? These are only a few of the reasons you may require a service call. A broken line or failed valve can lead to a large volume of water being released. This can saturate landscapes and cause erosion, as well as wasting considerable amounts of water.

A quick service call can reduce this impact. Our technicians will provide a quick response time for service calls and have the ability to diagnose challenging malfunctions. For any emergency irrigation issues please contact 604-291-2800 ext. 266

Seasonal Adjustments

Metro Vancouver’s weather can go through drastic changes in rainfall amounts throughout the year. Restrictions enacted by municipalities can also require adjustments to be made to irrigation systems. Our technicians will set systems to ensure they comply with all bylaws and other regulatory requirements.

Adjustments for weather conditions can help ensure that plant material is receiving adequate moisture during dry periods.

Metro Vancouver Watering Restrictions

Hand Watering Stratagies

Watering restrictions and hot weather create large risks for your plants. Without water, they will quickly die often in a matter of days. Plants in planters are at most risk but all plants, regardless of their location, will not easily survive summer droughts.

Thankfully hand watering is permitted in stages 2 and 3 of the Metro Vancouver watering restrictions, and can help you avoid costly plant replacements. In the summer, trees may also need slow watering that can be provided safely with the use of watering bags that are filled two to three times a week.
