Para Space Landscaping has been named one of Canada’s first companies to receive the Landscape Industry Accredited Company seal of approval! This accreditation is meant to help distinguish professional landscape companies that strive for excellence through strong ethical, business and work standards. The process included an extensive review to determine that Para Space met or exceeded the standards set out in the program which include:
- employing trained, Landscape Industry Certified, or equivalent employees
- providing clear, customer communications about service programs and contracts
- following applicable provincial/territorial/state, local and federal licensing requirements
- maintaining current insurance policies
- advertising truthfully and ethically in accordance with the Canadian Competition Bureau
- checking employee references, driving history and criminal background
- maintaining a drug-free workplace
- participating in the provincial/territorial workplace safety programs to enforce safety initiatives
Although we have always seen ourselves as industry leaders it is nice to be recognized formally.
