Our 45th Anniversary!
On August 1, 2024, we celebrate Para Space’s 45th anniversary, marking 45 years of dedicated service across the lower mainland! In honor of our great milestone, we visited our crews to spotlight the incredible people behind our success. Team members shared what makes Para Space special and the impact the company has had on their lives, offering unique perspectives on our collective journey.
Celebrating Our People
We had the pleasure of visiting some outstanding members of our team: Landscape Supervisors Martin and Brenden, Lead Hands Kevin and Carlo, and Landscaper Joe. In recognition of Para Space’s 45th anniversary, they shared their thoughts on our people, culture, and what makes our organization truly special. Read their comments below!
Martin – Landscape Supervisor
When we visited Martin at a property he supervises on False Creek, he emphasized the uniqueness of the Para Space team, saying, “You meet so many different people with so many different backgrounds […] Building [those] relationships really makes a difference.”
Joe – Landscaper
At the same property, Joe echoed Martin’s perspective, appreciating “great people at a great company that values its employees” and noting his love for the opportunity to see “really nice places and make a great impact on the sites and communities you get to work in.”
Brenden – Landscape Supervisor
While visiting a large property in Richmond, Brenden shared how Para Space has provided him with “so many different educational opportunities,” allowing him to continually increase his knowledge. He expressed that his “favourite part [of his job] is that [he] gets to share [his knowledge] with all of [his] colleagues and meet so many wonderful and diverse people!”
Kevin – Landscape Maintenance Lead Hand
Working alongside Brenden, Kevin highlighted the strong camaraderie within the team, mentioning, “Everybody here is just awesome. Everybody just rocks it [and has a] positive attitude. […] Everybody is just so great to work with and that’s just one of the best things about Para Space for me.”
Carlo – Landscape Services Lead Hand
Another colleague of Brenden and Kevin, Carlo emphasized our team’s dedication and pride in our work, stating, “[We] all take pride in [our] work. Everyone likes to work hard, and even your managers and supervisors have been in the field, so they can really relate to you!”
