For our annual Day of Service this year, we were thrilled to witness an overwhelming turnout of staff, friends, and family generously offering their time and skills to breathe new life into the landscape at Greater Heights Learning Academy and make a difference for special needs students and teachers. We revitalized the front entrance by installing fresh landscape ties, tended to planted beds throughout the school grounds, as well as sprucing up the picnic area and the entire school perimeter. Additionally, we added dry creek bed rock features to two areas at the front entry of the school as a focal point of the school.
Greater Heights Learning Academy is an educational institution specializing in educating children with brain dysfunction, genetic syndromes, autism, attention problems, and many other challenges. With the school’s unique cognitive approach, called Mediated Learning Experience, they help students and special needs children who face a variety of challenges reach their full potential.
Our goal was to help improve the environment teachers and special needs students work, learn, and play in!
Thank you to everyone who joined us in supporting a worthy cause during our 2024 Day of Service, helping transform areas of Greater Heights Learning Academy. We’re also grateful for Meadows Landscape Supply and Cedar Rim Nursery for their generous donations of plants, soil, and rock, which made this project possible.
