Volunteering is a Work of Heart

At Para Space, community outreach is important to us – especially during the challenging times brought on by COVID-19. So, in an effort to reach elderly and other residents who have been stuck at home during the pandemic, we teamed up with Assertive Northwest Property Management to hold a virtual container planting webinar!

First, we assembled 75 planter “kits” (which included all the essential gardening needs like soil, gloves, and plants). Then, we distributed them to over 30 residential buildings across Metro Vancouver. After the tutorial was presented, the response from participants was immediate and overwhelmingly positive:

“That was great, I always had just winged it with planters and now have learned some good tips!”

“Great presentation, can’t wait to see the result of these lovely planters in the Spring. Thank you for giving us something other than COVID to think about!”

“Thank you for arranging the virtual ‘planter pot’ demo with our landscaper and for delivering the huge pots and supplies to my door. I enjoyed the session and now have my planter proudly displayed on my patio deck.”

“Thank you for organizing the wonderful session and distributing the stuffs, it is a wonderful event for our community and bring joy to us for sure”

“Thanks so much for all the plants, etc and the wonderful,  most enjoyable fun I just had with the zoom presentation.”

“Thank you for a wonderful surprise outside my door. I absolutely love to tend to plants and enjoyed the presentation by Para Space Landscaping tremendously.”
