Lawn Fertilization

Fertilization is one of the most important cultural practices for a healthy lawn. A regular, moderate feeding schedule will yield optimal results for turf to thrive. We recommend lawn fertilizer application three times a year – in the spring, summer and fall. Some turf diseases such as anthracnose and red thread can be managed through proper fertilization, reducing the need for pesticide use. Fertilization offers the following benefits:

  • Reduced weed presence
  • Reduced insect and disease problems
  • Increased resilience to environmental stress
  • Encourages deep and healthy root system

Our regular lawn fertilizer program uses a balanced, controlled-release synthetic fertilizer containing the full range of necessary macro and micronutrients. We are also able to offer OMRI- certified organic programs if desired.
