Bedwork

Beautifully maintained garden beds is a central component of our landscape maintenance program.

Over a three week rotation cycle, beds are kept free of weeds using methods such as hand pulling, cultivating, and product applications (if permitted by municipal bylaws).

We have options to add soil or mulch to promote plant health and assist in weed suppression. All beds are deep edged to create a crisp defined look to the landscape.

Pruning

We use a combination of the best horticultural practices, such as thinning cuts, removal of dying and diseased branches, corrective pruning to create form and shape, and directional pruning. Proper cuts are made to promote happy, healthy plants.

There are two main periods of the year when pruning takes place. The first is mid-season, between May to the end of August, the second takes place from November through to the end of January. This ensures that all plants, such as shrubs, vines, hedges and trees are done correctly to create visually pleasing scenery for all to enjoy.

Water Features

We manage many types of water features for your unique property demands, such as ponds, fountains, water weirs, water walls, and waterfalls.

Water features have many benefits, but they require consistent upkeep to avoid costly damage and replacement. Pumps should be winterized by November.

Fallen debris must be regularly skimmed to prevent the water from turning brown and unsightly. Trimming plants regularly can also keep debris to a minimum.

Green Roofs

Green roofs are becoming increasingly popular in building designs. Not only do they serve many practical benefits (improving air quality, reducing the heat island effect, filtering water and reducing utility costs), they also create biodiversity and are aesthetically pleasing when well maintained.

Frequency of maintenance depends on your design (extensive, semi-intensive, intensive), the current condition, and owner preferences. As landscaping at higher heights can involve extra risk, our maintenance team is specially trained in fall protection safety.

Exterior Maintenance

We focus on the details so you don’t have to. Maximizing the curb appeal of your building through cleanliness of hard surfaces and lawns is essential to your reputation.

Focus is put on highly visible areas to keep sidewalks, parking lots, decks, and patios clear of leaf debris, garbage, and crack weeds.

Boulevard Gardens

Landscapes along streets (otherwise known as hellstrips) have unique requirements to manage such as plant selection, heavy foot traffic, and government protocols related to utility clearance to name a few.

Reclaim your peace of mind by knowing that your property is both aesthetically pleasing and liability free.
